UN Adopts A New Global Standard For Permanent Marking Of Railway Equipment
The United Nations (UN) has adopted a new global standard for marking railway equipment, facilitating secure and cheaper financing of all types of rolling stock. The Model Rules require attaching a URVIS identifier to railway rolling stock, as per the Luxembourg Rail Protocol.
