Uganda Railways Corporation Supply of Locomotives
Uganda Railways Corporation has closed the tender for the supply of 10 new diesel-electric locomotives, with four companies submitting bids. Funded by the African Development Bank, the procurement forms part of Uganda’s EAC Metre Gauge Railway Capacity Building Project, which also includes station rehabilitation, wagon procurement, and level crossing automation.
