Simandou 2040: The Minister of Transport Marks an Important Milestone
Guinea’s Minister of Transport, Ousmane Gaoual Diallo, has overseen the signing of a contract for 65 locomotives for the Simandou/TransGuinéen project. The 650-km railway will enhance mining logistics, regional connectivity, and economic growth, with the first iron ore shipment set for November 2025.
