Kawolo Concrete Sleeper Factory Temporarily Closes
On 13 December 2023, IMATHIA Construcción confirmed the temporary closure of the Kawolo Concrete Sleeper factory in Uganda, following the completion of the required sleepers for the refurbishment of the Kampala-Namanve-Mukonor Railway section. It is hoped that once the new contracts for the subsequent sections are issued, the factory will reopen.
