World Bank Group Strengthens Procurement Requirements to Support Job Creation, Skills Development
The World Bank will require at least 30% of labour costs in international civil works contracts to come from local workers, starting 1 September 2025, to promote job creation, skills development, and stronger local economies in developing countries.
